MY TOP 5 FROM MY SUMMER MUSIC PLAYLIST

Friday, 12 January 2018

As I've briefly mentioned in a few of my recent posts, my friends and I went away for 5 days to lake Taupo over New Years. It was such a dreamy trip and I'm already mentally planning this years end of year shenanigans.

My friends and I love our music. There isn't a moment where we aren't listening to some good worship music or blasting some of our favourite throwbacks. I thought that seeing as my three week summer break has come to an end that I would share my top 5 songs from my summer music playlist for those of you who are still enjoying a few more weeks of freedom.

01. DON'T GIVE IT UP - SIX60

I LOVE SIX60. How good is this song thats brought to you by New Zealand's finest? It's at the very top of my playlist as one of the songs that I will never get sick of no matter how many times I hear it.

02. AIN'T IT FUN - PARAMORE

Some of my friends and their worship team performed this song at their final school assembly at the end of last year and it's been constantly replaying in my head ever since. This one is an oldie but a goodie. My friends and I have tickets to their concert that's taking place in Auckland in a couple of months and I am BEYOND excited to (hopefully) hear this live!

03. SILENCE - KHALID

You can never go wrong with a little Khalid.

04. VIBES - SIX60

Honestly, just give me anything Six60 any day of the week and I'll be happy. Hands down my favourite band.

05. MR. BRIGHTSIDE - THE KILLERS

We have yet to hear this song start and not have every single one us sing the lyrics at the top of our lungs. This is definitely a summer necessity on your playlist.

XO, Danielle
