Twenty Seventeen has been one heck of year.

It's funny to think that I was dreading walking into a new year with a whoooole heap of unknown ahead of me. I had absolutely no idea that this was going to turn out to be one of my favourite years EVER. God is funny like that though. Just when I think my life is going to turn to pieces, he flips everything around and shows me just how well he's always had it planned out.

As I reflect over the past twelve months that have made up my twenty seventeen there are two things that I am thankful for above EVERYTHING that may have taken place in-between.

I am thankful for consistent friendships. People who just get me, have the same morals, the same beliefs, who are up for a spontaneous adventure, are ALWAYS active in our group chat, who I know are always going to support me and everything that I do, who made our first life group ever the best experience ever and for friends who no matter how often or not we chatted throughout the week I knew I would get to adventure with on a Friday and Sunday night.

I'm thankful for the doors God opened. I got to step into my DREAM JOB at the age of eighteen! How awesome is that?! I made life long friendships, learnt so much about myself, God and the people around me. He developed my love for the church even more than I thought it could grow. I learned how to hear from Him in my own way. My relationship with God is stronger than ever before and for that I will be forever grateful.

If this is what God has done through my twenty seventeen, there is no doubt in my mind that by surrendering the next year into His hands before it's even begun that it's going to be the BIGGEST and BEST year yet. There is so much that God has ready to set into motion and I am SO excited to see how He is going to use my friends and I to further His kingdom.

XO, Danielle
